About the Mardale Inn

Our refurbished pub offers rooms, excellent food, cask ales and wine, 40 bottled beers from around the world, real fires, warm welcome, and very comfortable Visit Britain four star rated accommodation. All of our residents have free use of our internet facilities.

We are also a very dog-friendly pub and we are listed in the UK's most popular online dog pub and accommodation directories. We are proud of our dogs welcome policy and we know our guests enjoy bringing their four-legged friends to the Inn. In the interests of our other guests, we would appreciate it if you would kindly adhere to the following guidelines.

• Please let us know, when you book, that you will be bringing your dog with you. We do not charge extra!

• Well-behaved dogs are welcome in all public areas of the Inn.

• Dogs may not be left unattended in bedrooms.

• Please keep your dog on a leash at all times whilst in the Inn.
